I am an experienced and qualified coach, mentor and facilitator, dedicated to supporting individuals, teams and their business grow and develop. My work focusses on leadership development, individual and team coaching and supporting business through organisational change projects.
I have developed my coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills alongside understanding team dynamics and business development through 20 years of managing and leading teams in the professional service, veterinary and retail industries. My experience spans SME to corporate organisations. In my roles, I have been instrumental in developing a nationally recognised new graduate programme, supporting middle and senior leadership development as well as driving business growth and profitability. I have supported businesses and the people through re-structuring and acquisition change. Over the last decade I have been developing my skills as an executive and team coach and working with global organisations in the retail, pharma and professional services sector.
In all my work, I strive to help people reflect and look beyond their current situation. I do this by building a supportive space for my clients to pause, notice what they notice and consider other options and create their own choice. In my experience, from this ‘space’ people are more likely to be open to challenge, challenge themselves, be creative with their thoughts and consider alternative options. Annoying as it is to those around me, I'm life-long learner with a deep interest and passion for helping others grow and develop, be it individually, as a team, their business or a combination of all three. I use many models including positive psychology, appreciative enquiry and systemic coaching. Whatever seems most appropriate that will support my client's development.
I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and receive regular supervision. I'm also EQ-i 2.0 & 360 certified to profile emotional intelligence.
I'm a mindfulness teacher supporting well-being for the individual and within organisations. I will be offering the mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) course face-to-face and also online.
Having grown up on a farm, I love being outdoors and can be found either horse riding or cycling over the South Downs. I have also spent the last 3 years working with and breaking two wild welsh mountain ponies which has been a great way to develop my own self-awareness as horses have no problem in informing you of what they think and how they experience you as a leader. For almost a decade I have been developing my mindfulness awareness and practice, which has undoubtedly supported me personally and professionally.
